On Wednesday, September 10^th, the "Stop Snitching" discussion begun by Stoneleigh Junior Fellow Sam George in May continues at Strawberry Mansion High School with "The Commonwealth Verses." This album, which was written and performed by students at the Girard E-3 Center, features songs that address issues in their personal lives and in society at large that have typically fallen under the code of silence. Join Sam George, the United Way of Southeastern Pennsylvania, and Blueprint for a Safer Philadelphia for a discussion with the students about their music, the role of hip hop in their life, and ask questions as well.
